I met Carter as a friend of his daughter when Dixie was just 16. It's been almost 40 years! And tho Dixie and I have been friends for that long, Carter moved away before I knew him too well. We only actually talked about 5 times, but in those short times, I can tell you this; he was a very interesting person to talk with, and a very intelligent guy with so many interests, and despite his zany personality, he was really fun to chat with. He'll be missed!

I babysat Dixie when she was a baby. Carter was incredible man. I recently lost both of my parents, Charles and Marilyn Keith, and seeing this is equally painful. I was 10 years old and watching my Dad and Carter ride motorcycles, now I think back how did they work the next day?
