Phyllis Buchner

Phyllis (Klinzing) Buchner, 92, of Jefferson Hills, PA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, just one day shy of her 93rd birthday.

Her life was marked by the incredible impact she had on everyone around her. Phyllis carried herself with grace, kindness, a wicked sense of humor, quiet strength and a servant’s heart. She enjoyed staying busy, dedicating her time to serving at St Elizabeth Church’s food bank, going on walks with her neighbors and dear friends Joanne and Don, reading books, and brightening the days of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Above all, she adored her family and would have moved mountains just to see them smile.

Phyllis is survived by her three daughters, Donna Wohlfarth (Kurt), Lisa Androski, and Phyllis Fazio and her four grandchildren, Nicki, Bobby, Alyssa and Brian. She was preceded in death by her parents Philomena and George Klinzing, her brothers Bill Klinzing and George Klinzing, and her grandson, Steven. Phyllis will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held June 13, 2026 at 12 noon at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. Friends and family are welcome. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Light of Life Mission.
