Deborah K. Young, 73, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Brentwood and Upper St. Clair, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on April 9, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Deborah was the daughter of the late John Paul and Florence Sisk.

Deborah was the beloved wife of Wayne R. Young. Their years together were filled with cherished memories and shared adventures.

She was a loving mother to Rick (Nikki), Melissa (Bruce), and Heather (Dan). She was also a loving sister to Sharon Sisk, Linda Halpern (David), and John Sisk (Beth). Her greatest pride came from her five grandchildren Jackson, Jonathan, Donavan, Abigail, and Gwen. Whether she was cheering from the stands at hockey games, applauding dance recitals, or attending high school sporting events, Grandma was always there. She loved watching Rick, Jackson, and Jonathan play hockey and never missed an opportunity to support Heather, Melissa, and Gwen in their dance performances.

Deborah enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with family, neighbors, and friends. She especially loved neighborhood walks with Mikey and Reese and peaceful walks through South Park with Wayne and Donavan.

A gathering for friends and family will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday July 8th, 2026 with services following the next day at 11:00AM on Thursday July 9th, 2026 at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Deborah’s honor to the Merakey Allegheny Valley School.

“Wayne’s Debbie”, my sweet sister in law. You were always so kind, helpful and caring to everyone. We became close between your almost weekly visits with mum and our sometimes silly, girls luncheons. I don’t remember you saying a harsh word about anyone. We miss you already. Fly high and say hi to mum ❤️
