We celebrate the life of our beloved Ba, Smt. Kantaben Amin, mother of Jyoti (Pranay) and Mita (Sachin) and grandmother of Roma, Paula, Samta, and Saumil. Kantaben Amin, 87, joined her husband (Nandubhai) in Akshardham on Thursday, March 29th, 2018. She was also a beloved sister and sister-in-law to her many siblings.

At a very young age, Kantaben decided to dedicate her time to supporting her immediate and extended family, along with her husband’s dream of building a high school in his hometown, Bareja. She believed that her grandchildren’s love for education and learning was inspired by this.

She was a very religious person, and her faith in Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan was very apparent from a young age to her last days. Regardless of her health, she enthusiastically welcomed the greeting of Jai Swaminarayan. She was a great cook who remembered her family members’ favorite dishes and prepared them with great joy and love. She was always eager to feed and support others.
Kantaben’s greatest joys were her family, religious activities, and hospitality, and she will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held at Cremation & Funeral Care (3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317) on Sunday, April 1st from 11AM to 1PM. Because of restrictions surrounding the Easter holiday, Antim Sanskar Services will be held the following day at 10AM at Cremation & Funeral Care.
