I know Mike through our sons. Michael and Kevin played baseball together for years. When you play travel baseball it is quite a six week commitment. Mike and I coached along with others-- Chip Kissinger, Darren Moore, Bobby Rocks, Phil Elias, George Liptak, his brother Brian and others. The memories make me very happy and were AWESOME. Mike was a great person, supportive of all the kids. Will always remember those days. To the McKeever family: my lthoughts and prayers are with you. Mike: Love ya bro. Mike Stief

We knew Mike and his family had been struggling for a while, but they were given temporary respite when it seemed Mike was recovering. During that period, I will never forget seeing at his son's events; and no matter how Mike must have been feeling, he always had a warm smile and a friendly word about everyone else's boy. This was a man who made a huge impact on many people's live by just showing up.

Wow! One very cool Valley dude! Not seen him since 1987. Very sorry to hear he left us so early! Sucks this Cancer shit! Took my Mom when she was 70. Mike and I are from the same 1982 USC High School Class. Partied, played sports together and just were friends together on a regular basis. Can’t remember one negative aspect about this dude! Just one good cool human and thus makes me so sad-mad that the High Powers make these folk leave us so young! RIP Mike and party hardly in the sky with my Mom and sister! Steve Caskey
