Patricia Saunders-Barnes, age 90 of Washington, PA former resident of Strabane Trails and a former resident of Cuyahoga Falls, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 28, 2021. Born on September 5, 1931 in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Rose and William Clark. Beloved wife to the late Thomas L. Saunders and Robert Barnes, who was the love of her life. Loving mother to Kathleen (the late Michael) Petri, Karen (Bill) Lockoski, and Thomas (Carol Bywaters) C. Saunders. Cherished grandmother to Christopher Lockoski. Loving sister to Nancy (Robert) Brizes. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her granddaughter Kara Petri and her sisters, Ann Gray, Jean Sellers, and Mary Schmittle.

Patricia retired from St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, OH as an OB Nurse. Patricia enjoyed sewing, painting and drawing. She loved to play cards in particular  Eucher with her friends at Strabane Trails. Patricia was an avid member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1  PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
