Vernadean E. Davis Aloia, 87, of Washington PA, formerly of Grindstone, Fayette County, died Thursday, November 4, 2021. Born in Grindstone, Fayette County, Daugther of the late Herbert Davis and Edith McCormick Davis. Married in 1955 to the late Louis P. Aloia in Immaculate Conception Church. She is survived by Daugther LuAnne (Nick) Uram of Florida, son Joseph (Linda) of Washington, PA, grandchildren Nicholas IV (Meredith), John Louis, Evan Davis, Joseph Mark (Ashley), Steven Dominick, Lauren Elizabeth and 3 great grandchildren with one on the way. Also survived by sister Sharon, brother Howard (Wilma), sister-in-laws, Sara and Barbara, daughter-in-law Victoria (Al), many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished. She was preceded in death by sisters Mildred, Elenor, Margaret, Dorthy Eloise, brothers Herbert, Robert, and Ellwood.

As a child, she had many hardships working and living on a farm her nickname as a child was Tizzy and stayed with her throughout her life. She was employed at Kroger Food Stores for 27 years. In the 70s and 80s, she founded an operated with her late husband, Lou, The Beaumart Deli and Catering, known for her Dill dip, salads and homemade foods, she was an excellent cook. In the 90s and until her death, she was a night dispatcher and bookkeeper at her son’s business, Pancake Towing Service. In times of joy or sorrow, she was the go to person and got things done. Catholic by Faith, she belonged to St. James Parish (formerly Immaculate Conception).

A private service will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies and a funeral mass will be held at a later date.
