Albert Shannon Zanolli Sr.

Albert Shannon Zanolli Sr., 87, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. Born on April 3, 1938 in Brownsville, PA he is the son of the late Albert Zanolli and Evelyn Smith.

Beloved father to Albert Shannon Zanolli Jr. and Debra Zanolli; Step-father to Sherri (John) Lewis, Rob (Maria) Weiser, and Micki Weiser; Loving Pap to Ian (Amber) Lewis, Julia (George) Movra, Ethan Weiser, Emma (Josh) Cox, Mara Weiser, Courtney (Dan Doran) Hofrichter, and Justin Zanolli; Great-grandfather to 7 great-grandchildren; He is also blessed with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his late wives, Irene Butler and Mari Rambeau, as well as his cousin, Grace Wells.

Shannon will be remembered for his love of life’s simple pleasures and the people he cherished most. He enjoyed going on cruises, spending time on the golf course, cheering on the Steelers and Pitt sports, and, most of all, being surrounded by his family. He also had a well-known sweet tooth and rarely passed up a good dessert. Shannon will be remembered as a kind and loving presence whose greatest joy came from the time he spent with those he loved.

A mass will be held on March 13, 2026 at 12pm at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, 15236. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will take place privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
