Alfred F. Boehm, Jr.

Alfred Frederick Boehm, Jr., (Jay) 79 of Hunker, PA, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026. Born April 26, 1946, to the late Alfred F. Boehm, Sr. and Virginia C. Boehm.

Upon graduation, he spent many years in radio/ tv communications.  His entrepreneurial spirit led him to create multiple businesses including Better Living Mobile Homes and the Getaway Lounge. After his retirement,  he returned to his true passion as a DJ for WLSW as Jay Frederick.  Jay was also a member of the Everson VFW Post 595 where he could often be found shooting a game of billiards and hanging with his buddies.

Jay is survived by his daughters Kelly (David) Wilhelm and Megan Klaas; his brother Donald (Antoinette) Boehm; grandchildren Ethan and Avery Klaas;  niece Theresa and his dear friend Stephanie O’Mara . He will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
