Alma Marie Patterson, 98, of Belle Vernon, PA passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025. Born on November 8, 1927 in Waynesburg, PA she is the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Guthrie.

Loving mother to Randall James (Michele) Patterson; Grandmother to Robert Derrickson, Brian Derrickson, Joseph Patterson, Dawn Marie Fess, Renee Bailey, Jamie Patterson, Emily Patterson and Elizabeth Patterson; Mother-in-law to Robert Derrickson; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Wilbert Patterson; her children, Lyric Darlene Derrickson and Charles Andrew Patterson; and her siblings Nellie Nolle, Marlene Higginbotham, Charles Guthrie, Jerry Guthrie and Dennis Guthrie.

All arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.

Randy, I am deeply heart-broken for you and your family on your mom's passing. I have always kept her dear to my heart. All the years I was with Chuck and for years afterwards, she was my beloved friend and confidant. I truly missed our card -playing days, hanging out with Grandma and canning up a storm. Spending days at your Grandparents and Uncle Denny's houses were always cherished times for me and the girls. Your Mom and Grandma taught me so much and I've always longed for those years. The same with sharing those precious times with your and Darlene's families. Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Love, Cheryl
