Angela DeMary, 61, of Pittsburgh, PA, formally Rivesville, WV, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2022 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 23, 1960 to the late Fred DeMary and Mary Jane DeMary, who resides in Rivesville, WV.

Angela retired from FedEx in 2020 after 26 years of loyal service. While there she organized many fundraisers to help the local food bank. She also volunteered for many different causes over the years and was especially fond of rescuing animals, helping disadvantaged children, and assisting to improve the lives of the impoverished.  She collected and repaired household items every year to donate to raise money for Holy Trinity Church.

Angela will always be remembered as an active and caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about others. She surrounded herself with family and friends, where she felt most comfortable and cherished. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who fully enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews—the most important part of her life after her deep faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Angela. She enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, and the sounds of birds chirping, while enjoying a glass of red wine. The children in her life brought Angela much happiness. She even carried a bin of toys with her to entertain them and provide laughs for when the opportunity arose. She was an incredible friend to many who will always cherish great times with her and many fond memories.

Angela is survived by her mother, Mary Jane DeMary; brothers, David DeMary and Richard DeMary; sisters, Diana DeMary and Nancy DeMary-Johnson; nieces, Chandra Monseau, Brooke Abel, Devin Graziani, and Jordan Swift; nephews, Ryan Dolog, Trent Johnson, and Colton Johnson; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Angela are invited to Holy Trinity Church (Archangel Gabriel Parish), 5718 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136 on April 2, 2022 at 12:30 PM for a Celebration of Life service. In lieu of flowers, Angela requested donations be made to LC-ARF Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund at www.lcarf.com or a charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
