Angelina Makris, age 96 of Mt. Lebanon formerly of Charleroi, PA passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born on May 11, 1921 in Homestead, PA she is the daughter of the late Mary and Andrew Tenekedes. Beloved wife of the late Michael Makris. Loving mother of James Michael (Kathleen) Makris and Maria M. Solomon. Dear sister Christina Burke and Eva Troianos. Cherished grandmother of Michael Makris, Michelle Cobolance, Melissa Makris and Christopher Russell. Loving great-grandmother of Jadyn, Charlie, Cameron, Mark, Julie, Amanda, Dillon and Chase. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Nicholas Tenekedes.
Angelina will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 12 PM-8 PM at Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd. McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546, a Trisagion service will be held at 7 PM at the funeral home. Family and friends are also welcome on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 9 AM until the time of service at 9:30 AM at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W McMurray Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317, 724-745-5205. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
