Annie was one of a kind! I have so many wonderful memories with her, weekends at Tygart Lake, vacations, picnics, dances, she loved being with her friends. She was great at telling stories around the campfires, and telling us all about England, her family, and her journey to move to the USA. I will miss her laugh, her smile, her sense of humor, her compassion, I could go on and on. I was blessed to have her in my life! Until we meet again, my friend, fly high, no more pain. I love you my dear friend. Peace be with you and all who loved Ann Calvert

Ann and I worked together for 30 years and after the folding of the company we stayed in touch albeit not often. I talked with Ann a few months prior to her diagnosis and all seemed well but when I heard she had passed a part of my life departed as well. As I think back on our working years Ann’s humor and strength stay with me. Her story of immigration and her years of striving for citizenship while raising a son showed her strength of character and devotion to her son. She often talked and took pride in the success of her brothers and how she so loved family. I will miss you Ann.
