Annette Marie Koman, 61, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2020 surrounded by the love of her entire family. She was born January 14, 1958 in McKeesport and is the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Alberta (Evans) Scheetz. She married the love of her life Allan on October 11, 1980. Annette and Allan were inseparable and the definition of a perfect match. Together they enjoyed cruising and camping, and this past year completed visits to all 50 states of the US. But above all, Annette’s pride and joy were her four children and her three (soon to be five) grandchildren. Annette will be remembered most for her infectious smile, warm hugs, genuine friendships, delicious meals, and persevering spirit. Annette is survived by her husband Allan; her children, Julia (Charles) Gasdick, Kimberly (Michael) Hatala, Jacob (Brittany), and Nicholas; grandchildren, Anthony, Nolan, and Parker Gasdick. She is also survived by her brothers William “Bill” (Nancy) Scheetz, Barry (Linda) Scheetz, and Keith (Judy) Scheetz. Family and friends who were loved by Annette are invited on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, 15136. A Mass will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Malachy Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, PO Box 11561, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 or at www.ovarian.org.

Julie, So sorry to hear this news. I know she has struggled for a long time. She is now at peace and hopefully you and your family can move on knowing she is no longer suffering. Very similar to the loss I just experienced with my mother 2 weeks ago. Fred Rossetti and the entire TrueNorth team.

To Al and Family: You all have Denise, my family and me our deepest sympathy, on your loss. Annette was a very good person. I will always remember her and you when we coached the kids in softball, and what a great time we had at the games. I would have liked to talk to you in person but my son and his family lives in Ohio, and we were visiting him this weekend. So again you have our sincere sympathy and may she Rest In Peace. If you need anything give me a call. The John Zyskowski family
