Anthony F. Dwyer, 74, of Venetia, PA, formerly of Scranton and Allentown, passed away on June 8, 2026 surrounded by his family.
Born September 1, 1951, in Scranton, he was the son of the late John J. Dwyer and Rosemary Stuckart Dwyer.
Husband of Moira Sweeney Dwyer; Father of Meghan Conrad (Mark), Maureen, Sean (Alison), and Kimberly; Grandfather of Keegan McLaughlin, Keira, Harper, and Hannah Dwyer. He is also survived by his siblings, Suzanne Zaleski (Dave), Judy, Rosemary Kahler (Mark), Christopher, Marty (Loretta), and Marc, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by Sr. Mary K. Dwyer IHM, John J. Dwyer Jr. (Mary Beth) and Joseph.
Tony loved spending time with his grandchildren, reminiscing with family and friends, and celebrating his Irish heritage and Scranton roots.
Services will be private for the family. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date.
