Antionette “Toni” S. LaRue, of Pittsburgh, after fighting a courageous battle with ALS, the Lord took Toni home on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the age of 74.

The daughter of the late Newton A. Lowden, Sr. and Stella L. Lowden; beloved mother of Stacey Lowden (the late James) Poole, Kimberly (Charles) Nance, Tonya LaRue-Holloman and James (Emily) LaRue, Jr.; loving grandmother of Doneika Griffin, TaJa McCray, Renorvio and Kianna Holloman, McKayla (Caden) Madsen, Tyrese and Tamia Sheriff; great-grandmother of Jionni and Juliana Pritchett, Amir Blakey, Clyde and Everett Madsen; sister of Renea (the late Ronald) DeVaughn, Sheila (the late Darryl) Robinson, the late Newton A. (Patty) Lowden Jr. and the late Dale Edward Lowden. Toni also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church, 201 Chalfont Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.  Repass to follow at Beulah Baptist Church. Memorial donations in honor of Toni may be made to the ALS Association of Western PA, 416 Lincoln Ave., Millvale, PA 15209. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
