Antoinette Planitzer

Antoinette Planitzer, age 66, of McKees Rocks, formerly of Peters Township, passed away on December 18, 2025, after a courageous battle.

Born on September 24, 1959, in Pittsburgh, Antoinette was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Helen Planitzer.

She is survived by her loving siblings: Donna Klein, Debra Ward, Warren Planitzer, and Karen Rutledge. Antoinette was also a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Antoinette was a lifelong advocate for animals, dedicating much of her time and love to the care and protection of her beloved pets, especially her dogs and cats. Her compassion for animals was a central part of who she was, and her kindness will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society
