Ardeth Tichenor

It is with great sadness to announce that our mother, Ardeth Tichenor, has quietly passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. We take comfort in knowing that she is once again in the loving arms of her husband, Ben, who sadly passed away on April 16, 2021. Ardeth was born on February 14, 1933, the daughter of the late William and Lucille Numer, sister of Judith Viviano, William P. Numer, Jr., the late Carlene Heck and the late Patricia Russ. Ardeth is survived by her children, Benjamin Tichenor, Jr. (Linda), Kenneth Tichenor (Nancy) and Susan Tichenor Minor. Known as “Gram” to grandchildren Lisha (Steve) Mihalko, Jared (Casey) Tichenor, Lindsay (Joe) Changle, Makayla Minor, and also survived by great grandchildren, Zach Holtz, Rylee, Ryan, Gavin Milhalko, Carsyn Tichenor and Lincoln Changle.

Ardeth was a professional bowler winning many tournaments on the pro-bowlers tour with her unbelievable left handed curve hook shot that led to a very high average. She enjoyed playing bridge in a bridge club for over 40 years, loved to read books, took up quilting, and even did some painting following Bob Ross. She enjoyed life to the very end with her family by her side. Mom and Dad, rest easy, you had a good life. Thanks for all your love… see you again.
