Babette “Betty” Prager Boyle

Babette “Betty” Prager Boyle, age 94, of Castle Shannon formerly of Brookline passed away on March 19, 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Prager.
Beloved wife of the late John Francis Boyle; loving stepmother of Mary Alice (the late John) Opferman, John P. (Cheryl McKinney) Boyle, William E. (Barbara) Boyle, Beatrice Anne (Rich Bungard) Hyatt and Edward J. (Linda) Boyle; and cherished grandmother to ten step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

Betty was an accomplished pianist, avid reader and enjoyed being with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 10 am at St. Winifred Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228.  Babette will be interned with John at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
