Barbara Ann Fraysier

Barbara Ann Fraysier, 91, of Robinson Township, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Canonsburg, PA. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Wilson G. and Theresa M. Young. Wife of the late Henry F. Fraysier; beloved mother of Richard H.(Charlene) Fraysier, the late Laura J. (Mike) Betenbaugh, Mary L. (David) Cain, the late Daniel S. Fraysier, Susan L. (the late Philip) Brown and Timothy J. Fraysier.  Sister of the late Wilson G. “Bill” II (June) Young, Ralph “Ollie” (Virginia) Young and Richard “Dick” Young. She also leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara went back to school when her youngest son was ten years old and became an LPN. She worked at Sewickley Valley Hospital and Manor Care. She loved camping and had a passion for gardening, flowers and birds. And if there was a baby in the room, she would be holding it.

She and her husband Henry were founding members of Providence PCA Church. They were faithful in attendance and active in the church choir, nursery and covenant groups. They also were members of Allelujah Chorus.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.  A memorial service will be held at Providence PCA Church, 77 Phillips Lane, McKees Rocks, PA on Monday, August 9 at noon.
