Barbara “Jean” Franell, age 67 of Washington, PA passed away suddenly on September 10, 2022. Born on February 22, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Edward Avery. Beloved wife to the late Howard Franell. Loving companion of John Doyle. Cherished mother of Carlos (Kelly) Franell, Carla (Jason) Christopher, Ja’Net Franell, Anthony (Melissa) Franell and Brittany Franell. Loving grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Larry (Sharon) Avery, Charles (Lisa) Avery, Sheron (Greg) Godfrey, and Gregory Avery. She was preceded in death by her son, Howard Franell, Jr. ,brother, Albert Clemon, and sisters Carolyn Smith and Briget Avery.

Jean loved crafting, traveling and shopping, but most importantly cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2 PM – 4 PM and 6 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724)-260-5546.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, kidney.org.
