Sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to Tom and the Merendino family. A friend and colleague from Carnegie Mellon phoned yesterday with the sad news. Tom often spoke of Barb’s strength and determination to fight the long fight and to endure. Her family’s love surely gave her the strength required for that difficult journey. May she rest in eternal peace.
