Bernard F. Szymanski

Bernard F. Szymanski, 90, of Robinson Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Bernard was born in East Vandergrift, PA, January 1936, a son of the late Anna (Potoka) and Charles Szymanski. He was a 1953 graduate of Vandergrift High School and in 1969 graduated with a BS of Metallurgical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (formerly Carnegie Tech), in Pittsburgh.Bernard had a passion for playing golf. When he wasn’t playing he was probably watching golf. He also enjoyed spending time with his cats.
Bernard is survived by his son, Bernard Mans, of Robinson Twp., and daughter, Brenda Simms, of Austin,TX. Bernard is also survived by a sister, Christine Torchia, of Lower Burrell and brother, Frank Szymanski, of Kittanning.
In addition to his parents, Bernard is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa M. (Patitucci) Szymanski; 4 sisters; Eleanor Szymanski, Pauline Slomkoski, Genevieve Chechak, and Dorothy Cavalleri; 1 brother, Stanley Szymanski.
