Bess R. Deitz age 96 of Washington formerly of Crafton passed away peacefully on November 16, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gene Deitz; loving mother of Peggy (Daniel) Barry, William (Jennifer) Deitz and Beth (Larry Jr.) Simpson; cherished grandmother of Michael, William (Yanawan), Matthew (Maureen), Andrew, Melanie, Lauren, Megan and Rae Lynn and 6 great grandchildren; dear sister of Mary Nan Cox; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 6 siblings.
Bess loved traveling, theatre and music. In her youth, she danced professionally and was a dance instructor.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11 am at Hillsview Chapel, 825 South Main St., Washington, PA 15301. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
