Caleb Rhys Crump, 18 days old, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Born on September 3, 2024, he was the beloved son of Courtney and Alan Crump; loving brother Nolen Crump; cherished grandson of Al and Kathy Crump and Karyl Doyle and the late Jeffery Rice; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Caleb was a fighter and so strong. He brought so much joy to our lives with the short time he was with us. His older brother adored him. Our hearts will never be the same without him.

We would like to thank the many family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and caregivers who supported us and continue to support us in this most difficult journey. The family also wants to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at Children’s Hospital as well as Family Hospice for the amazing care they provided to Caleb.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 3-7 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Caleb’s memory.
