Carla Jean Mankey, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 50. Born to Bob and Rose Wagner on September 9, 1974, in Canonsburg, PA, Carla was known for her genuine nature, infectious smile, and boundless heart. She brought joy to everyone she met.

With an empathetic spirit and a heart of gold, Carla loved deeply—whether it was her family, friends, or her cherished cats. Her fun-loving energy made her the life of every gathering. A passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Grateful Dead, Carla’s enthusiasm for the things she loved was contagious.

Carla’s loyalty and selflessness knew no bounds, always giving of herself to those she cared about. Her creativity, kindness, and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her four siblings: Annette Matusky, Maria Binotto (Greg), Bobbi DiClaudio (Tim), and Rob Wagner (Kelly). She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply.

Carla’s loving heart will be missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends will be he will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help offset her funeral costs

So sorry to hear this news. Carla was one of the first people Glenn and I met at the SNPJ and she always greeted us with a smile. She always made me feel she was happy to see me and that we have been friends forever! I have never met a sweeter person. Prayers for the entire family❤️🙏
