Carol Ann Carmichael, age 85, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026.
Born on September 29, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carol graduated from Carnegie High School and dedicated much of her life to being a loving homemaker, caring for her family with kindness and devotion.
Carol found joy in the simple things in life. She loved working word search puzzle books, cooking for those she loved, watching NASCAR races, and feeding the animals that visited her backyard. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 39 years, Larry Carmichael, as well as her parents, Walter L. and Alice Knordel Snee, and her sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Bart Prozzoly.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Gary (Barbara) Carmichael, Donald Carmichael, David (Sue) Carmichael, and Jodi Potts; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; her sister, Alice (Bob) Montagna; her brother-in-law, Carl Carmichael; and many other family members and friends.
Carol’s love for her family, generous heart, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
