I,Bob Dougherty, worked with Katie as a Mobility Specialist at the Western Pa School for Blind Children in Oakland for many years…I remember when I had Katie at Soergels farm market and of course having a birthday party for her…Oh how Carol showed much joy, enthusiasm, & love to all of us ! She impressed me greatly… After Katie graduated from WPSBC Mike took over as primary person for Katie…I visited Mike & Carol once a year and they always took good care of me…As Carol would say…Oh wait another road trip with Bob & Katie to Oakland, Squirrel Hill, etc, etc… mobility bob
