Carol Lorraine Oxenreiter

The family of Carol Lorraine Oxenreiter is saddened to announce her passing on December 31, 2025, at the age of 76. Carol was born on November 4, 1949, in Pittsburgh PA to Doris and Ralph Oxenreiter.

Throughout her life, Carol loved music and, in earlier years, loved to sing and accompany herself on the guitar to entertain family and friends. She was a lifelong advocate for animals and had pet dogs and cats which she
cherished.

Carol endured many challenges during her life, which she met with courage and a sense of humor.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Lora Oxenreiter and brother Thomas J. Oxenreiter and his wife
Valerie Oxenreiter, nephew Brian Oxenreiter, niece Sara Oxenreiter, great nephew Manny Hurt, great niece Treya Hurt and sister-in-law Cindy Kraus.

Funeral arrangements are private. If you would like to honor Carol, donations can be made to Animal Friends, The Humane Society or Gray Paws in her memory.
