Carolyn A. Adams

At age 83, Carolyn Adams, formerly of Bethel Park, PA, passed away  peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, with her daughters by her side.   Beloved mother of Laurie Adams (Tim) and Shari Stranges (Frank), loving grandmother of Christina Hlutkowsky and Oriana Hlutkowsky (Chris); and cherished daughter of the late Bob and Laura Johnson.

Carolyn lived a life of service and sacrifice, especially in caring for her family.  She also was a dedicated peer counselor for the TERRAP agoraphobia treatment program and was honored to be the recipient of St. Francis Hospital’s Courage to Come Back Award for Psychiatry in 1992.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank “little sister” Janet Whetsell and devoted friend James Malone for their long-time love and support, and, of course, Clyde.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
