Carolyn A. Malek

Carolyn A. Malek, 74, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 1, 2024. Born on December 4, 1949, she was the cherished daughter of Mildred and the late Lawrence Tohey Jr.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Malek III, and her sister, Kathleen Kalish. She is survived by her devoted son, Joseph (Kimberly) Malek, and her adored granddaughter, Evelyn Malek. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Family was the heart of Carolyn’s life. She took great joy in spending time with her loved ones, creating cherished memories and nurturing bonds that will endure. Her spirit, generosity, and love will forever be felt by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 11 am at Pittsburgh Crematon & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
