Carolyn J. “Jeanie” Heagy, age 84, of McMurray formerly of Bridgeville passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 22, 2023.
Born on September 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Edith King.
In addition to her parents, she is preceeded in death by husband, Charles R. Heagy; Son, Charles R. Heagy and her 4 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Deborah (Thomas) Shearer and Timothy “Tim” Heagy; grandchildren, Shelby Warnick and Mackenzie Warnick; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jeanie loved birds and wildlife. She had an insatiable need to take care of others and touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcomed, January 26, 2023 from 2-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
