Cassandra Lee “Sandy” Brytus Wood Marflak

“Absent from the body, present with the Lord”

Age 76, of Wolfdale passed on April 24, 2022.

She was born March 11, 1946 to Michael Brytus and Helen Goga Brytus. Loving wife to Daniel Marflak. Cherished sister to Robert Brytus and the late and beloved William Cherokee. Dear mother to Ronna Stewart, Dustan Wood, and Deron Wood. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sandy was passionately in love with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Also, made every effort to love every person she met. She spent many loving years with her beloved Dan who she thought the world of. If you met Sandy, you would never forget her. She sold crafts from her home, was a longtime Avon representative, and she loved good conversation. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family is grateful to the Lord for Pastor Doug Keith and all the hospice members that did a fantastic job during her last days here.

In memory of Sandy, please take a moment to turn to the Lord and be quiet before him.

Memorial contributions may be mailed to Amedisys Hospice 480 Johnson Road Suite 230, Washington PA 15301, (724)-746-6581.
