Catherine L. Barton, age 82, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026.
Born on April 19, 1944, Catherine was the beloved daughter of the late Annmae and George Barton. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Valerie Barton, Alma Bates, and Georgia Mae Hall, as well as her eight nieces and nephews.
Catherine found joy in the simple things in life. She loved crocheting and spending time putting together puzzles. The color purple was her favorite, a fitting reflection of the warmth and personality she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136.
A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Petrie Cemetery, 765 Beacon Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
Catherine will be remembered with love and cherished in the hearts of her family forever.
