Catherine M. Dengler, 92 of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. She was born October 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA and is the daughter of the late Austin and Marie Lee. Loving mother of James (Mary) Dengler and the late Robert Dengler; sister of the late Austin Lee and Mary Toma; beloved grandmother of Nicole (Clint) Martin and great-grandmother of twins, Kyle and Emily Martin.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Mount, 403 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.

I am so sorry to hear of Katie's death. She was my mom's best friend when they both lived at St. Justin Plaza in Mt Washington. Katie first went into the nursing home and my mom went in to one in Greensburg this past June. I told my mom and she is so saddened by the news. They were able to talk with one another during the summer and for that my mom is grateful.
