Catherine Mackin Fiore, age 70 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Shadyside Hospital. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 30, 1950 and is the daughter of the late James and Catherine Mackin. Beloved wife of Dale E. Fiore; loving mother of Sean (Mary Beth) Walsh and the late Ryan Patrick Walsh; adoring grandmother of Ryan William Walsh; sister of James Mackin, Noreen (Ronald) Dillon and Judi Mackin; sister-in-law of Bonnie Fiore; also, many nieces and a nephew.

Retired from Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division in 2015. Cathy never let any obstacles slow her down. She enjoyed long drives in West Virginia and vacationing in the Outer Banks NC. She loved being Grandma and never missed her grandson’s baseball, wrestling, and football games. There was always a snack and candy in the car to be enjoyed!

A Blessing Service followed by inurnment will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136.
