Charita Lynn Nemec, age 74 of Canonsburg, PA formerly of Nottingham Township passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. Born on October 10, 2021, she was the daughter of the late Harriett and Aldon Crawford. Beloved wife to Ed Nemec. Loving step mother of Beckey Picard, Rachel (Glenn) Nemec, and Chris (Kelly) Nemec. Cherished step grandmother to Jesse, Abby and Emerson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Mathes.
Charita was a retired Canon McMillian Teacher. She was an avid reader, gardener and bridge player. Charita was an actor and director with Baldwin Players, Old Schoolhouse Players, South Park Theater, and Little Lake Theater, where she also served on the Board of Directors.
Per Charita’s request, all services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, 150 Hillside Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
