Charles J. Guskey, Jr. (“Toyee”), 92, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh on December 22, 1929, he is the son of the late Charles and Stella Guskey and brother of the late Margie (Bob) Klimke. Devoted husband of 68 years to his special love Lucy Birbilas Guskey. Loving father of Audrey Guskey (Jim Maochi), Charles D. Guskey, Gerald (Susan) Guskey and Jean (Rich) Guskey-Fuchs; grandfather of Ed (Jenn) Federouch, Evonne (Andy) Beasom, Zachary (Emily) Guskey, Jordan Guskey, Gabrielle Fuchs and Samuel Fuchs; great-grandfather of Jake, Luke and Cassidy Federouch, Blake Beasom, and Elliot Guskey.

Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a printer at Herbick & Held/Financial Press for over 50 years. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Church and volunteer at Duquesne University. A religious man, Chuck was devoted to his faith and his family. Known for his humor, kindness and generosity, he will be greatly missed by family and friends whose lives he has touched.

Friends are welcome on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 3-5pm and 6-8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10 am at Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 5718 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery, Whitehall, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted for Holy Trinity Church (Archangel Gabriel Parish), or Fisher House Foundation, Helping Military Families.

I vividly remember playing with Evonne across the street on Robin Rd many years ago. Fa was always such a kind and warm person. He made me feel at home in their house. My deepest sympathies to Evonne and the whole Guskey family. Sincerely, Laura (Johnson) Kingsley
