Charles “Wayne” Ford

Charles “Wayne” Ford, age 82, of Washington, passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 9, 2025.

Born on January 23, 1943, he was the son of the late Margaret and Charles Ford. 

Loving father of Candy (Chris) Budd, Carla (Scott) Hartley, Heather Ford, and Jeff (Tara) Ford; cherished grandfather of 9, Sarah (Mike) Sever, Jacob (Kelsey) Zambo, Breanna Ford, Jada Ford, Matt Hartley, Corbin Likar, Diesel Ford, Izabelle Likar, Charlie Ford and 2 great grandchildren Grace Sever and Nicholas Sever. Dear brother of Linda Ford (Don) and the late Greg (surviving: Kathy) Ford; also survived by nieces and nephews.

A proud Marine for 5 years and a union carpenter for 55 years, Wayne was known not only for his remarkable skill and work ethic but also for the heart he put into everything he built—especially the things he made for the people he loved.
