Cheldric Rawn Williams aka “Ched” aka “Sonny,” 78, passed away on December 27, 2020 at home. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to George Williams and Rachel Strothers. He attended South High School and in 1960 joined the US Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He lived in Kanas City for many years and worked at Fleming Foods, Inc. as a warehouse foreman. Cheldric is survived by his wife Debra; daughters, Satara, Taya and Tereen; sisters, Cenythia and Tanya; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Rachel; stepfather Charles Jenkins and 2 brothers, Cornell and Antone. Inurnment took place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, located in Bridgeville, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to any US Civil Rights or Native American association serving the marginalized and disenfranchised. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
