Cheryl L. Glass

Cheryl L. Glass, age 76, of Washington, passed away with her family by her side on May 20, 2024.

Cheryl was born in Canonsburg, PA, on June 20, 1947, to the late Edna and Milord McElravy.

Cheryl was the loving mother of Christopher (Deborah) Glass, cherished grandmother of Autumn Glass and Joseph Conklin, beloved great-grandmother of Aurora Glass, Elijah Glass, and Sarrah Glass, and dear sister of Patricia Young.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her sisters, Marilyn Dixon, Carol Whitacre, and Joan Donella, and her brother, Russell McElravy.

Cheryl was a proud US Army veteran who bravely served her country in Vietnam. After her tour of duty, she signed up with the US Army Reserves in the mid-70s until 1987. She was a strong woman with a fighting spirit. She loved her family and passed on that fighting spirit to her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her free time, Cheryl loved cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

A private burial with full military honors will take place at a later date. Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
