Christine “Chrissie” Kay Vujevich, age 54 of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Born on March 4, 1972, Chrissie was preceded in death by her parents Charles William Jones and Nancy Jean Jones. She is survived by Mark Vujevich, her beloved husband of 28 years; her beautiful daughters Nicole Vujevich, Megan Vujevich and Marion Vujevich; her loving sister Debbie (Brad) Blackwell; and nieces and nephews John Blackwell, Charlee Blackwell, Robby Garder, Mark Gardner, Leah Gardner, Alexa Ward, Brian Ward, Katie Ward, Kelly Ward, Sofia Vujevich, Silvana Vujevich and Luca Vujevich. Chrissie was also sister of the late Charles W. Jones, Jr.
Chrissie was a compassionate daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a warm spirit who opened her heart and home to many. Her self-proclaimed “love language” was cooking for those she cared about; she often could be found in her kitchen, making her famous meatballs to provide comfort for those in need of support.
Quick-witted, engaging and entertaining, Chrissie brought sunshine into every room she entered. She was always armed with a good story, no matter how many times she told it. It was impossible to keep her at arms-length; she could turn strangers into friends within one conversation. She was fiercely loyal to, and steadfastly protective of, those she held dear.
She proudly marched to the beat of her own drum, never looking back and usually drawing a crowd who followed behind.
Although young hearted, she had an old soul.
Chrissie will be deeply missed by all. May she rest in peace and may her bright star continue to shine down on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to a service at St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216, on June 13, 2026 at 10am. A celebration of Chrissie’s life will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
