Christine Renee Martin
1980-2022
We are sad to announce the passing of Christine “Chrissy” Martin, 42, of Washington. Christine passed away peacefully Monday December 19,2022 at Magee Womens Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born June 30, 1980 in Washington, loving daughter of Michael and Debbie Dubina. She was a 1998 graduate of Trinity High School and enjoyed staying home with her children and all of her many pets, especially her beloved Hazel.
Christine had a lot of health issues throughout her short life but still kept her sense of humor. She was always there to brighten the lives of others. Christine always had a smile on her face and a joke on her lips. Her greatest gift was her gift of quick-wit and making anyone and everyone around her smile, even strangers. There was never a time you left her that your cheeks didn’t hurt from laughter. She loved being outdoors, camping, bonfires and hiking. Especially loved going to any park she could with her children, finding waterfalls and exploring caves. She loved music and was also very passionate about playing piano and was recently learning to play guitar.
On July 19, 2014 she married the love of her life, Raymond Joseph Martin.
She will be sorely missed by many friends and family including her 4 children, Dakota (Kira) Wilkinson, Shayla Wilkinson, Ellyauna Flis, and Gunner Martin. Sister of Lori (Chris) Cain. She was Aunt Sissy to her 3 nephews Erik Miller, Austin Cain, Zach Cain, 1 niece Matteson (Cody) Cain and a Great nephew Hudson, her little Huddy Lovey. Grandmother Marilyn Stevens (G G) She also had several wonderful Aunts, uncles, and cousins. 2 very special cousins that were like sisters Tracy and Stacy Dubina.
She will also be missed by her in-laws Crystal Martin, Raymond (Lisa) Martin, and in-law grandparents Raymond (Shirley) Martin.
Christine is now reunited with her grandparents, Fred (Pappy) Stevens, Nicholas and Helen Dubina, Aunts, Debbie Dubina and Emma Gudac, Uncles, Clyde Dubina and Stephen Gudac.
There will be a celebration of life party, per Christines wishes, at a later date. Her loving, giving soul will be missed but not forgotten.
Cards or condolences can be sent directly to the family. If you wish to make a donation in her honor, she has requested contributing to the Washington Area Humane Society, https://www.washingtonpashelter.org/donate/.
