Cindy L. Strohecker, 70, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.

Born on February 16, 1956, Cindy was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Wilma Wingrove and stepdaughter of David Wingrove.

Cindy devoted her life to caring for the people she loved most. As a dedicated wife and stay-at-home mother, she took great pride in creating a warm and loving home for her family. Being a mom and β€œMammie” brought her the greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.

She also found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Cindy loved working in the yard, taking pride in keeping her home and garden beautiful. She had a special love for animals and always had a soft spot for any creature that needed care. Her kindness, warmth, and nurturing spirit were felt by everyone who knew her.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Rue Strohecker; her loving children, Dennis (Candace) Martin, Kristen Martin, Andrea (Nathan) Strauss, and Stephanie (Donald) McAnallen; and her cherished grandchildren who were the light of her life, Jordan Shrontz, Dawson Martin, the late Madison Martin, Angela Chambers, Jacy Strohecker, Mya Currie, Jewely Strohecker, Jenna Strohecker, Amelia Strauss, Rowen McAnallen, and Auden McAnallen. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Padilla, Kim Demski, and was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Wingrove.

Cindy will be remembered for her gentle heart, her devotion to her family, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her wish would have been for everyone to make a donation to a charity of your choice, to make the world a better place.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
