On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Colette Devereaux Dugan, 84, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed peacefully with her family by her side.  Colette was born March 29, 1938 in Port Washington, NY to Robert F and Ruth Gregory.  She was a beloved wife to her husband John F Dugan, mother to Patricia (Scott) Papke of Littleton, CO, Gregory Cox of Bethel Park, PA, and Christopher (Candace) Cox of Bethel Park, PA; grandmother to Ryan (Thuy) Marchbanks, Lyndsay (Brett) Jenner, Alyssa Cox, Austin Lewis, and Alexandra Cox; great-grandmother to Brooklynn & Logan Marchbanks; sister to Alfred Gregory, Ruth Geils, and Robert Gregory; she is also survived by nieces, nephews, step children and step grandchildren.

Colette loved traveling, reading, movies, horseback riding, spending time at the ocean, and she continued her education at CMU through adult learning for many years.  She graduated with a law degree at age 40, worked as a lobbyist for the Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and was Finance Director for Arlen Specter’s successful re-election campaign in 1992.  She was most proud of her time volunteering and serving on the board of the Pittsburgh Zoo, which she enjoyed for years.
