Daniel “Dutch” Frazier

Daniel “Dutch” Frazier, age 88 of Washington, PA passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, December 17, 2017. Born on July 14, 1929 in Washington, PA, he is the son of the late Rose Perry and Harry Frazier. Beloved husband of Diane Frazier for 67 years. Loving father of David (Nancy) Frazier and Jodi (Jake) Pliska. Cherished grandfather of Alisha (Ben) DeLuca, Jennifer (Sammy) Morgan, Morgan Pliska, Madison Pliska, Matt (Shannon) Ringheiser and Natalie (Eric) Apodiakos. Dear great-grandfather of Italo and Rocco DeLuca, Emma and Ruby Morgan, twins Matt and Mason Ringheiser and Dash and Dylan Apodiakos. He was preceded in death by his son Boone and his siblings John and Bill Frazier, Stella McFelly, Sid Buchanon and Doris Wilson.

Dutch was a proud Army Veteran. He played football for Washington Podunks and the Washington Generals. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and he enjoyed watching the games with his friend, Norman Gump. Dutch enjoyed walking, dartball, drinking beer and spending time with his friends at the Moose Lodge 22 and the American Legion. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, kind heart and love for this family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 1 PM until the time of service at 4 PM at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. Internment will take place privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
