Daniel Thomas Lagi, 37 years, of Bridgeville, PA, formerly of Dormont, PA, passed away on April 1, 2026. He was born on February 9, 1989.
Daniel, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend is survived by his loving family: his mother, Laurie Lagi; his father, Thomas Lagi; his sister, Erica Gulden, and her husband, Jonathan Gulden; his nephew, Theodore Gulden; his half-brother, Jonah Lagi; and his grandmother, Carol Nomides. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Nomides and Peter Lagi, and his grandmother, Willie Mae Marton.
Daniel graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 2007 and attended Penn State Altoona. He was charismatic, passionate, and talented—a self-taught musician who played guitar, drums, and bass, sang beautifully, and even built his own instruments. He loved basketball, had a quick wit, and brought laughter wherever he went. Generous and compassionate, Daniel cared deeply for others, loved God, led youth worship at Berean, and cherished animals. Full of life, love, laughter, and joy, Daniel leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Berean Church Pittsburgh, 300 Rockfield Circle, Pittsburgh (Scott Township), PA 15243. A reception will follow.
