Darnika Nashore Rosetta Freeman Peoples, 44 of Pittsburgh, gained her wings and went to be with her Lord, her mother and her brother on Monday, April 26, 2021. Daughter of George (the late Rudy) Freeman; wife of Kahlil Peoples, companion of Lasheena Miliner; mother of Darnika Lasheena Miliner, Kahlil Wright, Nashore Kelsey, Shakour Kelsey, and Courtney Patton; grandmother of Kahlil Wright, Jr.; sister of the late George “Ju Ju” Freeman. She is also survived by cousins Jamesha and Ortaeges, sister Noona and her niece Rachael.

Darnika was a God-fearing Christian with a beautiful spirit who will be missed by everyone, every day. “Give me my flowers while I’m here, not when I’m gone”. Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
