David Kester

David Kester, age 83 of West Mifflin and Homestead, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 4, 2022. He was the son of the late Margaret and Hugh Kester. Beloved husband to the late Norma Kester. Loving father to Jane Kester Hartsell. Cherished grandfather to Bradley (Nicole) Kester and Rebecca (fiancée Nick) Hartsell. Loving great grandfather to Jordan, Brody, Tawoin, Kyloren and Braxton. Loving brother to Cathy Scranton, Susan Gillingham, and Thomas Steed. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews, his godson, Anthony Stetson and his goddaughter Roberta Noschese. David will also be dearly missed by his many friends in the deaf community.

David was known for his career as a professional beautician. He was an active member of the Catholic Office for the Deaf and was a man of faith. David enjoyed fishing, his dog Boomer, spending time with friends and family and loved pizza. He will be dearly missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the future at his parish, St. Theresa in Munhall, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
