David Scott Arison, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and Pappy, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on October 27, 1967, in Elmira, New York, and grew up in South Fayette, Pennsylvania, where he continued to live for most of his life.
David was husband to wife, Kelli Arison, and a loving father to Luke and Madison. He was a proud Pappy to his grandson, Ethan.
David was an avid golfer and spent a large part of his life working at Fort Cherry Golf Course, a place that became an important fixture in his life. He loved the game, the course, and the people he met along the way.
A true sports enthusiast, David also gave his time and energy to the South Fayette community as a baseball coach for several years. He treasured watching his son, Luke, play baseball. For the past 11 years, David was Luke’s biggest fan, proudly cheering him on from the stands as he played for various South Fayette teams and RBI Redwings. His support, encouragement, and presence were a constant reminder of how much his family meant to him.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ellen Arison; grandparents Clayton and Nellie Arison, Joseph Zeno and Leona Wallace; uncles Ronnie, Joseph, James, Michael, and Father Maurice; and his cousin, Jeff Arison.
He is survived by his wife, Kelli; his children, Luke and Madison; his grandson, Ethan; his brother, Ralph Thomas (Clare) of Flatwoods, along with extended family.
David leaves behind a lifetime of memories—on the golf course, around the baseball field, and most importantly, with the family he loved so deeply. His presence will be missed, but his humor, his love, and the countless moments he shared with those around him will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
